Cooling Tunnels & Dryers
Hiley Engineering offer a comprehensive range of modular high performance cooling tunnels which can be configured to suit specific product cooling characteristics.
The covers of the cooling sections are easy to open from either side. They are supported by gas struts and are made of stainless steel (or mild steel) insulated with a high efficiency flame retardent Styrofoam. The cooling tunnel sections are completely sealed by special rubber gaskets.
- Various drive units available, sized according to belt type, conveyor length and application.
- Automatic belt tensioning units. A major feature is the quick release of the belt allowing easy access to the conveyor deck for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
- Solid decks (fully removable for cleaning) over the full length to ensure full support of the web and provide maximum product stability
- Water chilled beds can be incorporated into the deck to provide additional cooling of the product.
- Return rollers (fully removable for cleaning) fitted to support the web.
- Live end rollers (small diameter 15.9mm / ") complete with sealed needle bearings fitted to minimise heat transfer and prolong the life of the rollers.
- Belt scrapers complete with collection trays.
- Belt auto-tracking units (constant pneumatic operation).
